Can I separate IIS and Sql server 2005 in different PCs?

Hi, everyone

Can I separate IIS and Sql server 2005 in different PCs? One is Web server and another one sql server 2005. How to set up report services running well under this condition?

Hi Blueskly168,

You install Reporting Services 2005 on the IIS machine, and have MSSQL 2005 on a standalone machine (i.e not with IIS) you then simply configure RS to point to the MSSQL db server to host its repository (ReportServer, ReportServerTempDB).
