Can not connect to a flat file

Hi all....

With Visual Studio, I have created a new "Integration Services Project".

As per the tutorial instructions, I right-click in the "Connection Managers" box, and I select "New Flat File Connection"

When I do so, I get this error:

The new connection manager could not be created.
Exception from HRESULT: 0xC0010014 (Microsoft.SqlServer.DTSRuntimeWrap)

Any suggestions? (BTW, I'm using 64-Bit Enterprise edition for x64)

I have tried to remove and re-install Integrated services, but I have had no luck.

Its too late to ask this question. Can you remember what makes this problem fixed? We too have exact problem and unable to get any help

Any refernce would be helpful.

Sorry.... I have not visited this in a while. I just changed everything I need to do to script.

This issues is realted to 64 bit environment. Once we register the necessary dlls in the 64 bit environmen, everything is working fine

Can I use SQL Express for a large website?

I run a tutorial website with average 50,000 page views per day and hoping to
grow this number to 100,000 per day in next 1 year. Currently, I use MS
Access database and lot of caching in the web site for performance reasons.
Can I use SQL 2005 Express for such a good traffic web site? Does SQL 2005
express support that much hits? I can continue to use lot of caching to avoid
too many hits to database.
Sounds like a good fit., but it is difficult to talk about specific numbers
or metrics. Sql Express should outperform anything you are able to do with
Access. Sql Express will only utilize a single processor and 1gb of ram.
Databases are limited to 4gb in size.

Can I run SSRS reports from my VB6 application?

Hello,
I'd like to run some SSRS reports from my VB6 application. Is this
possible? If so, could someone direct me to a good tutorial to do so?
Currently I have an installation of SQL 2000 with Reporting Services, on a
Win2K3 server box.

RickJust use hyperlinks and point to the report server folder and file.
Example link:
http://rsserver/ReportServer?/Folder/ItemListing
rsserver would be your report SQL server name, Folder would be the name of
the folder where your report rdl file is and the ItemListing would be
replaced with the name of your report (without the .rdl).

that's why I wanted to know if there was a dll or something that I could use
in VB6. I know there's a webservice for .net, but don't know of anything
for VB6.
